Having an office dog and being a bunch of animal lovers means
we are partial to any advert that features a cute animal- we simply fall in
love and want one for our own. Thinkbox’s new
television advert showing the most recent installment of the ‘Harvey’ story is no
exception and shows how “the combination of a great TV ad with a cute, intrepid
or comedic creature is a powerful one”.
We first met Harvey back in 2010, when he was the star of the award-winning ‘Dogs Home’ television advert highlighting all his selling points....
Since then we have been eagerly awaiting his return and it’s
been worth the wait. He has now brought his best friend Rabbit, but can he save
him? ...
Yes we know it’s just an advert but there is a point to all
the cuteness. Thinkbox aims to highlight the power of television advertising
and although we deal with experiential campaigns for brands, both areas of
marketing are using the same motivations. This is based around the idea that in
the current market to be a successful brand –you need to create a story that
engages your consumers. Whether that be through the use of a character that
people can empathise with or an experiential event that they can immerse
themselves in.
